KONTRON MEDICAL has been an innovator in the ultrasound field for over 37 years. The company was created through the merger of Hoffman La Roche’s medical imaging department and Dassault’s monitoring department in 1970.

Pioneer in Ultrasound : always innovating in the field

KONTRON MEDICAL has advanced expertise in echography including over 17 generations of ultrasound platforms and a number of major patents in the medical device field, such as compound imaging and color flow mapping. Kontron Medical designs also its probes and recently developed a new concept of trans-oesophageal probe.

The Company’s ultrasound products are used in cardiology, its core competence, as well as cardiovascular, vascular, radiology, and obstetrics and gynecology applications.
